well it's time to update this ancient thing and move on with life,
fri. was when i live the life as SUPERSTAR. after losing a bet weeks ago, i had to sing at once a year talent show ( i know, lame) and so decided to sing 99 Red Balloons by Goldfinger, after spending hours of remembering the words and learning how to speak german, it all finally paid off and i was the last act. however i never got actually rehearse the whole song and was nervous as hell. When judgement day came, i freaked out and i planned that morning and actually go get 99 red balloons, unfortunately, we could only get 60 and two of them popped and that was that. the plan was that during between the vocals i would get the balloons and kicked them at the audience. too be honest i was surprised with myself not being nervous and was actually excited. right when it was my time to shine, i could hear the audience already cheering and getting excited hoping that this wasn't another ghetto screamo emo band that was about to perform. right when the curtain was removed, the spotlight blinded my face so i couldn't see anything and knew that all i could was sing in front of hundreds. and then the balloons. as they fell on stage i made a run for them and attempted to kick them at the audience, but i forgot a tiny detail, we blew them ourselves, in other words for the non-scientific ppl, no helium = no chance at making it to the audience. as i'm trying to figure out what to do in the middle of the whole high school, i pulled off a Happy Feet move. the crowd to my surprise was eating it up as it was supposed to happen and when i actually looked up i see a two whole literally standing doing the wave. after the little gimic was over i sucessfully did a stage dive and got even more attention just for that. sadly i didn't make a place but recieved the "audience favorite" award and was told at least 30 times i should have won, hey you win some you lose. but the thing that made me laugh was when i found that the wave was actually the varsity baseball team. in the end pulling random things like that actually made something i never thought i end up as.. so hurray for that.
